COVID-19 precautions for camp.
Many of our counselors fall under the 1A healthcare workers and have been vaccinated. Campers, counselors, and staff will not be permitted at camp if they have had any COVID-19 Symptoms within 14-days of camp or have been exposed to a COVID positive or suspected COVID positive individuals.
Precautions at Camp:
Temperature and symptom checks will be taken at the door.
All people affiliated with Brave Explorers Camp will wear masks.
We will strive to maintain a 6-feet distance when possible.
Regular hand washing and sanitizing of hands will take place.
Toys will be sanitized between uses.
High-touch surfaces will be sanitized multiple times each day.
Windows will be open for circulation when possible, and HEPA-filtration systems and fans will be placed in each classroom.
We will limit indoor activity as much as possible.
During meal times, children will be spaced 6-feet apart, and will occur outdoors whenever possible
Camp will be limited to 12 campers this year. Campers are divided into two rooms of approximately 6 campers each (not including their counselor).
These guidelines are subject to change based on community transmission rates, CDC, local and State guidelines.
